Paper Crafting

Hershey's Red Velvet Cake

Ingredients: 1/2 c margarine 1 1/2 c sugar 2 eggsa 1 tsp. vanilla 1 c buttermilk 2 Tbsp. red food coloring 2 c all- purpose flour 1/3 c Heshey's Cocoa 1 tsp. salt 1 1/1 tsp baking soda 1 Tbsp. white vinegar Procedure: 1. Heat oven to 350 degree F. Grease and flour baking pan. 2. Beat butter and sugar in large bowl; add eggs and vanilla, beating well. Stir together buttermilk mixture and food color. Stir together flour, cocoa and salt; Add alternately to butter mixture with buttermilk mixture, mixing well. Stir in baking soda and vinegar. Poured into prepared pan. 3. Bake 30 to 35 minutes. Cool completely. Frost with your favorite cream cheese icing. To make the cake pops: 1. After baking, let the cake cool. 2. Crumble the cake, mix it with cream cheese icing. 3. Scoop a Tbsp. and form into a ball. 4. Glue your popsicle stick to the center of the cake pop by dipping one end of the stick to your melted chocolate. Let it cool. 5. Melt your chocolate candy on a double boiler. Dip and roll your cakepop on it. Let it stand until candy is set.
